Q & A with Dr. Kelly Hendricks

We celebrated his birthday and now we get to celebrate . . . well, him! Dr. Kelly Hendricks is a phenomenal new addition to the Timber Kids Dentistry team. Patients love him and we all agree that we are thrilled he didn't become a pharmacist! Learn more about Dr. Hendricks in our latest dentist Q&A.

Meet Dr. Kelly Hendricks

Q: Why did you decide to become a dentist?

A: Dentistry was introduced to me by my older brother, although my Dad thought I should become a pharmacist. But I knew I wanted to work with kids. So even from the start of dental school I knew I would pursue pediatric dentistry.

Q: Did you have a favorite dentist when you were a kid?

A: Not that I can remember.

Q: If you could be a tooth, which one would you be?‍

A: Primary 2nd molar. They look grown up but they’re just big kids.

Q: What is your favorite flavor of toothpaste?

A: Normal boring minty flavors for me. But my kids like Chocolate Ice Cream Flavored Tasty Paste.

Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

A: I like where I’m at. But maybe somewhere exotic? Like New Zealand?

Q: If you could be the dentist to any famous person, who would it be?

A: Calvin from Calvin and Hobbs. Seems like a fun kid to be around!

Q: Do you have a favorite childhood toy?

A: I was big in to Rollerblading in middle school.

Q: Where did you grow up?‍

A: Littleton, Colorado

Q: Mountains or beaches?‍

A: Mountains in the winter, beaches in the summer. But I’d be ok with year round summer. 😎
